Harsha is a senior at UMW majoring in Communication and Digital Studies. Harsha is keen in gaining skills in Photoshop and Illustrator to further build his skills. Besides school and homework Harsha is also part of the UMW Men’s Club Volleyball. He spends most of his free time watching movies and playing volleyball.
Oliver is a junior at UMW and studying history and geography. They were born in Atlanta, Georgia but lived in Charlottesville for most of their life. They enjoy reading, writing, and pottery, and are looking forward to working with season 7’s cast and crew this spring semester!
Amanda is senior at UMW majoring in Communications and Digital Studies. She is also a double minor in journalism and sports management. Besides school and homework she is also a part of the UMW Women’s Swim and Dive team too. Separate from UMW Swim and Dive she also competes at multiple Paralympic swim meets across the country. Swimming takes most of her free time but when she isn’t swimming or doing homework she loves to watch tv or movies and hangout with her friends.
Meet Hayden George! A young man with many aspirations and interests, who dedicates himself to what he hopes is lifelong learning. He is currently studying Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Mary Washington. He also has Adobe Certifications in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects which exemplify his background and experience with graphic design and video editing. When he isn’t studying or creating art, he plays video games and relaxes with his family, friends, and his cat, Otter.
Russell is a student double majoring in Data Science and Communication & Digital Studies. She thrives on staying busy, whether it’s helping with digital projects at the DKC or exploring new opportunities to grow her skills. When she’s not working or studying, Russell enjoys spending time with her family, trying out new foods, and reading. She’s passionate about finding a career that blends her interests in technology, communication, and creativity. Her favorite quote is, “You can’t change how people act, but what you can change is how you react.
Oleander N. (he/him) is a junior at UMW. He is majoring in Theatre with a focus on costuming, works in the costume shop as a shop assistant, and loves to sew even in his free time! Oleander is proud to be a campus leader, having been an orientation leader during the Summer of 2024, as well as being an overall friendly face on a campus full of friendly faces. He strives to make a difference in his community, whether it’s as simple as giving directions or as complex as helping others find their passions. Some of his current interests are sewing (of course), making dolls (3d modeled, by himself or others), stressing about looking for graduate schools, and learning to make music!
Drew Meisenheimer is a senior Historic Preservation major at the University of Mary Washington! He is originally from Fairfax, VA and enjoys being outdoors. He has worked with the National Park Service as an intern and a Seasonal Park Ranger. Through this he has done Living History and found that to be enjoyable. He also enjoys baseball and has done research on how it connects to preservation. He is excited to try something new on Are We Live, since he has never done video production before, but did make a small appearance in the last season on the Historic Burns skit.
Ava Bredehoeft is a junior at UMW, studying history. She works part time at the Center for International Education, helping students prepare for journies abroad. Born and raised in Vienna, Virginia, she prioritizes family and friends above anything else. Outside of her studies, she is extremely passioate about art and is always looking for a new creative outlooks. Having spent several years onstage, she hopes to take a breather from performing and gain new experiences behind the scenes.
Abby Aldrich is currently a sophomore at UMW studying Communications and Digital Studies. She hopes to work for a company such as Google or Amazon with her degree. She has worked at Coldstone Creamery and Cracker Barrel! Abby also plays club volleyball at UMW! She is a libero and setter for the team. Her favorite things include fashion, astrology, making friends, and listening to music!
Andrew “Drew” Begley is currently a senior at the University of Mary Washington. He is the producer for all things that come from UMW Esports and enjoys it thoroughly. In the past and present, he uploads YouTube videos to his channel in his free time. Drew is looking forward to one day graduating and potentially pursuing a job in digital media. He is the proud owner of five dachshunds named Blu, June, Mulberry, Dancer, and last but not least, Steve.
Ben is a junior who majors in historic perseveration. He is passionate about music, movies, and art. His goal is to work in a museum one day. Ben loves to perform in front of others especially when it is comedic. He strives to make people laugh, and is excited to be involved in season 7 of “Are We Live?” throughout the production of the show Ben wishes to learn the ins and outs of sketch comedy.
Logan Miller is attending her final semester at the University of Mary Washington and plans to pursue her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. Much of her free time is spent playing with her new kitten, crocheting, and playing Minecraft with her friends! She hopes to learn more about the technical aspects of the course and looks forward to being a potential cast member throughout the season.
I would like to introduce you all to Jessica Smith. She has never done any part-time job because she wanted to focus more on school. Her greatest achievement was earning a degree in General Studies. She was born in Virginia and had lived there for more than a decade. She is now a sophomore at the University of Mary Washington. She really does love to draw, paint, and mold. She is a graphic designer In Fredericksburg. Her recent GPA is around 3.0. Jessica Smith’s role is an audio director for an upcoming movie, “Madame Web.” Her role is to give out audio design guidelines, sets goals and deadlines for her members. Her and her team’s name was published for the audio on the credit scene of “Peter Pan & Wendy.”
Cece Ward (she/they) is currently a junior at Mary Washington, studying English: Creative Writing. She dreams of experimenting with creative mediums in class and expanding into a jellyfish of creativity instead of limiting herself to an acorn as well as just observing and taking inspiration from others in class. Outside of writing (poetry and sometimes fiction), she likes to frolic in nature, make art and outrageous fashion choices, dance around and spend time with fellow earthings, consume television, music and other mechanisms of storytelling!
Fiona Archer is a senior Communications and Digital Studies major at the University of Mary Washington. She did theater for all four years of high school and maintains a passion for the art of storytelling. When Fiona is not in class, she is more than likely either painting, coloring, or recounting a mundane day to friends in strictly hyperbolic terms.
Lauren King is a senior here at Mary Wash studying communications and digital studies. She is planning to finish her courses and graduate summer of twenty-twenty four. Lauren is originally from a small island called Chincoteague Island, Va. In high school, she participated in a few theatrical productions. Last semester, she was in a video production class and had so much fun with it! Lauren is super excited to start this class, learn different roles throughout the process. etc!

Vivian Reinhardt (she/they) is a junior Communications and Digital Studies major. She has experience both on and off-screen and considers themself to be a jack of all trades. On campus, she works for New Student Programs and the Concierge Service staff. When they’re not on campus, you can find her trying out a new fiber art, reading, or trying to convince their friends to play Dungeons and Dragons.

Maha Momtaz is a Studio Art student at UMW. She is heavily involved in Student New Programs at her university where she coordinates programs for incoming students. On top of that, she also manages their social media accounts. Maha runs her own small business called, Maha’s Giftshop where she sells her art pieces and homemade jewelry.
