Mady is an Are We Live? alumni returning to the cast and crew for Season France. While in school, she studied Communication and Digital Studies, but also spent a lot of her time working as a Lead Consultant for the Writing Center and assistant designing for the Theatre department’s mainstage productions. In her free time, Mady enjoys making crafts, playing board games, and watching reality TV competition shows such as RuPaul’s Drag Race and Survivor.

Eniya Cropper is a Studio Art major and Digital Studies minor at the University of Mary Washington. She works in animation, photography, film, editing, and a variety of other traditional mediums. She aims to recreate the feelings of awe that comes from childlike wonder through her work. She’s a self proclaimed jack of all trades: dabbling in baking, music, gardening, and gaming. Eniya is currently working on an animated short and mini documentary. She resides in Fredericksburg with her immediate family and two beloved dogs, Diamond and Onyx.

This is AJ Gluchowski! His pronouns are He/Him, and he’s from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania! He’s awkwardly tall but blissfully good-looking, or so he’s been told. He is a senior, majoring in Communication and Digital Studies, the president of the UMW Eagle Pipe Band, and he works with Student Activities and Engagement, New Student Programs, and the Digital Knowledge Center. He’s just returned from a semester in Scotland, and he’s ready and thrilled to take his hobby of content creation to Paris!

Zoe Hanrahan is an upcoming third-year UMW student majoring in Sociology and Communication and Digital Studies. When not studying or assisting people at the DKC, she enjoys peaceful pastimes, such as stabbing people with swords at the fencing club, where she rules supreme as the current president. She has joined Season France of Are We Live in the hopes of spreading chaos overseas.

Brianna Kenealy is junior at UMW and is majoring in business administration. She is from Arlington, Virginia and has always been involved in performing arts (theater- on and off stage- and chorus), sports, and service. She is currently on the UMW women’s soccer team and loves exploring new places and finding hole-in-the-wall spots that are a bit off the beaten track. Jonathan Windsor is a senior and Communications and Digital Studies major at the University of Mary Washington. His interests extend beyond his specialty in multimedia marketing and into nature directly with wildlife photography, a pastime. He is the Vice President of Fourth Wall Studios, UMW’s leading film-making club, and interns with the university’s Office of Events, assisting with the construction and marketing of “Great Lives” and Commencement.

Anna Blake is a senior studying Communications & Digital Studies at the University of Mary Washington. Throughout the school year, she works at the Digital Knowledge Center where she consults with students on digital projects. As a consultant, she has spent hours teaching herself programs such as Premiere Pro, Tinkercad, and more. She has taken many video production classes and found a passion for production and editing. Her two favorite videos are the one she made about the food at the Multicultural Fair and the mockumentary she made for her club tennis team.

Shannon is a perpetual pursuer of new adventures at the University of Mary Washington where she has worked since 2013. Her latest exploits include taking over the Digital Knowledge Center in an attempt to empower students to be digital creators. The root of her rabblerousing can be found in her liberal arts education at Mary Washington where she graduated with a BA in History. She is currently in the thesis stage of her grad program where she intends to receive an MFA in Design Thinking, a fact that would shock her undergraduate self who was, “so done with school”.

Tay (they/them) is a Communications and Digital Studies Major at UMW entering their senior year. They’re involved in Club Baseball and Radio Club at UMW. They love learning about languages and general media production including photo, video and audio! They’re a musician that plays bass, guitar, drums, and vocals. They hope to be involved in fields of media production, journalism, travel, tourism, and/or translation when they graduate.

Julia Snow is a junior at the University of Mary Washington. Julia majors in political science with a minor in women and gender studies. Her interest in the major has to do with governmental campaigns. She has recently helped out with the Congressional election in 2022 where the Congresswoman she worked for in Fredericksburg had won. Julia also has been a part of the UMW cross-country and track team, and she is usually working out or going to competitions on the weekends if not studying for school. Other than that, she enjoys traveling along with spending time with friends when she is not in school or running.

Paula Zuleta is a Fredericksburg, VA based Artist and recent graduate from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art. She specializes in Photography, Stop Motion Animation, Oil Painting, Illustration, and Sculptural fiber art. She has exhibited her works in Juried Exhibitions in Richmond, VA and the University of Mary Washington where she earned The Award of Excellence, and The Grey Melcher’s Purchase Award where her work resides in the gallery’s permanent collection. Zuleta is dedicated to bringing artistic experiences using bold colors, fine details, and unconventional approaches to create visual playgrounds. She currently resides in Fredericksburg, VA.
